Does anyone know how I can find (retrive) a document that was saved to the A
drive on a disk and now the disk is corrupted.

Was typing a German paper in Word.  Uses "Ctrl" + "Alt" + "0223" looking for
a German character.  Entire monitor display flipped upside-down and am unable

Is there a simple way of keeping English (Australian) as the default spell
checker. I change it for one word and it just keeps going back to the US
version. What is it with the US can't they accept anything else???

I have Word 2002.  WinXP.
I have a 200 page document with 13 different sections.
My question is... how can I insert text (in this case the date) in arch
different footer simultaneously.

When I go to page setup, all measurements are in pts instead of inches.

I am trying to create a template that has a footer at the bottom of the page.
The footer would ideally be situation 0.1" from the bottom of the page.  
When I am in Print Layout, the footer looks perfect.  When I print the page
or preview the page, the footer is not visible.  ...
