When I first boot my computer, Word comes up and wants me to change the normal.dot file as a Save As. I don't know why it's doing this. It's not a big deal, but I wonder why this happens. Thanks

We have deployed Office 2003 in the company and have come to the conclusion that we cannot set the Options for Track Changes on never and none for all users at the same time. (in Word: Tools\Options\Track Changes)

I love the templates that I download from the Microsoft site. But, some of my favorite yearly templates are from different years. Or they are in the school year format. How can I easily change the year and subsequently the month and days on these templates?

When I create a table that covers a number of vertcal pages Word randomly seems to create page breaks between rows so that I end up with big gaps in the document. Is there a way I can stop this?

In Print view, Word 2003 displays a style bar along the left-hand side that sometimes goes away, but reappears and overlaps the document. It is not connected to the document, but rather a floating 1" style list. How do I turn that off?
