In ms word 2000 I am missing the "edit" function22 Mar 2006 17:52 GMT1
I am missing the edit function on my toolbar.. I tryed repairing the install
and deleting and re-installing the program.. any ideas?

Word wants to update normal.dot at bootup...why?22 Mar 2006 17:51 GMT4
When I first boot my computer, Word comes up and wants me to change the
normal.dot file as a Save As. I don't know why it's doing this. It's not a
big deal, but I wonder why this happens.

I love the templates that I download from the Microsoft site.  But, some of
my favorite yearly templates are from different years.  Or they are in the
school year format.  How can I easily change the year and subsequently the

I am using Word 2000
When I save a template how do I save it to a specific tab.  For example:  I
created a letter template and want to save it in the "Letter & Faxes" tab.

When I create a table that covers a number of vertcal pages Word randomly
seems to create page breaks between rows so that I end up with big gaps in
the document. Is there a way I can stop this?

In Print view, Word 2003 displays a style bar along the left-hand side
that sometimes goes away, but reappears and overlaps the document.  It
is not connected to the document, but rather a floating 1" style list.
