I have several MS Word 2002 SP3 documents where I have just turned on track
changes and want to show the changes using the 'baloons to print' option.  
I've gone to options/track changes and checked the 'use baloons to print'
box, but the changes are still being shown as ...

I'm a trainer and am working with a user that has a long technical
document in Word 2003 on an XP machine. He added a reference list using
"Insert/Reference/Footnote" and chose the endnote option for the entire
document. He then added a series of appendices after this reference ...

When I try to open my header and footer to insert information, the footer
comes up fine but the header will not come up at all.  I have checked all the
usual pages, page set-up, etc, but have no idea why the header will not show.

In my ancient Multimate, it was easy to type something at the top of a
document - say a phone number - that wouldn't print out when I printed the
document .  I can't find a way to do that with Word, but I'm sure it exists.  
Could someone help?

I want AutoNumLgl to number starting at 1 up to a certain point in my
document; but then I want the numbering to resume again at 1 at a latter
point in my document. Or I want to achieve this in any way I can. For

When I create a new Excel object within a Word document, I can't make the
individual cell borders disappear completely.  If I'm in standalone Excel,

I want to combine two symbols, in this instance it would be ">" and "/" but

I had created an index for a 400 page document that the author now wants to
delete 80% of.  Is there a way to globally remove the markers throughout the
document instead of one at a time?  I would like to expedite the completion
of this document.

I would like to find and replace all text boxes.  Is there an option to
"find" text boxes?

I forgot which combinations I specified.
Going into tools-macros I can see the macros and step through them or edit
