I am using MS Word to create dance tickets with business cards.  I can't
remember how I have done it in the past, but I want to add a sequential
ticket number to the top and bottom of each business card (for door prize
draws).  I am using Work XP and Avery 8371 size cards.

Is there a way to get rid of Adobe PDF toolbar in MS Word without removing
the software?  I customize the toolbar and remove it by unclicking the box,
and as soon as I go to another window and return, or close MS Word, it comes
back.

I was experiemtning with templates in Word and now for some reason my default
Word page comes up square rather than rectangular 8 1/2 X 11.  I have deleted
and restored my normal.dot file, even reinstalled Office, but cannot get back
the 8 /12 x 11 configuration.  Any ideas?

After just finishing a letter, I lost power and my computer restarted.
The document I was working on seems lost. It doesnt show up in the documants
pane.
How can I find this file?

My figures are labelled "Figure X", but in my text I want to refer to those
figures in the abbreviated form (Fig. X).  When I use the cross-referrence
tool it doesn't let me change Figure to Fig.  How do I do this so that Figure
changes to Fig in the text?

Word did an update last night and in the process closed all the open programs
on its own.  I was working on a document that I had not yet saved.  The
AutoRecover feature is turned on and updates every 10 minutes.  How do I find
this file?

When trying to insert a file all the office programs default to My documents.
When I click on the drop down arrow to scroll to another area the program
will not respond and locks.  Recent problem as has always worked in the past.
Is there a reason this would start to happen?  ...

In numbering I type #1.  Then I want to get to a, b, d,   then I want to go
back to #2.  How do I get back to #2?  Iin Word Perfect I would hit the Tag
and Shift key.  I don't know how to do this in Word.

I just started using the "Print Layout" view when creating a Word document.
The blank document template shows four markings-one in each corner of the
page. These appear to be margin markings. How can I eliminate them. They are
driving me nutty.
