I can open, edit, and save my Word documents but now I cannot Save As.  The
program hangs and I need to terminate the program to go on with other things.
This problem just started in the last 2 weeks.  I have had this

After exiting Word 2003 I receive a message that the global normal template
must be saved. When I go to task manager I find two or more images of winword
running. If I have brought Word 2003 up 3 times and closed it 3 different
times I find 3 images of winword running when I go ...

I ran the below program in a machine with XP SP1 and Word 2000 it took only 2
or 3 seconds to insert the bookmarks into the word document. But in a machine
with XP SP2 and Word 2000 it took 18 seconds in an average. I am using the

I have accidentally turned on some type of margin marker in Word 03.  Every
time I open Word, the document show (4) grey half-crosshairs in each corner.  
What setting can I change to make these go away?

It shows up on one computer but not on another... I get a little red 'x'
I think it is because it is 'linked' and not 'embeded' or whatever the

I have a largish Word document, approx 8 Mb, which I'm unable to convert to
PDF  format.  I'm using Adobe v. 7 professional.  It starts the process and
