Does my Word 2003 contain a calculator; where?

I need to put my 300 page dissertation (that is a word document) onto a CD as
a PDF file. I have XP Professional and Office 2003. How do I do this? Do I
need to purchase something special?

How do you center selected text without disturbing the letterhead portion of
the page? When I center the text, the entire contents of the page drops.  I
want the letterhead to remain at the top for uniformity!  Thanks!!

I have a recent problem. I opened an email, copied to WORD document but when

i just did automatic updates to xp (a bunch of security fixes) and now when i
try to open a new file in word, word locks.  if it try 'save as' it also
locks.  it can open/save existing files ok.  as long as the name doesn't
change.

I am attempting to create a table of contents, with three heading levels. I
want the entire page to be double spaced. In between the a Level 3 heading
