When I open a new word document the cursor is all the way to the top of the document, I check the maargins and they are set to top (1") botton (1") left and right are (1.25") how can I fix the problem?

I am working on a document with multiple sections. I delete the section break at the end of the document and surprise to see the header changed. A new header replaced my original one and i do not recognise this new header at all!!

Good Morning All, In Word there is the capability to designate one or more rows in a table to be the header as the table spans multiple pages. But is there any way to get the first header row to say "TITLE", and headers on subsequent pages to say "TITLE (cont)"?

I am producing a newsletter in Word. However, one person is submitting an article in Microsoft Publisher format. Is there a way I can import the Publisher article into Word? Both programs are 2003. When I try to open a Publisher document into Word, I only get odd symbols.

I can't figure out how to get the paragraph symbols and all the other marks off of my documents. Somehow every document I open has the formatting showing. Even things I saved yesterday that were not set up this way, as well aas docs that I did last year.
