How do I change a document paper size without opening word? I have 300+ documents to change and don't have the time to open each document.

I get the message can not save autorecovery file while in use by another process. How can I fix this problem? It is a technical document with equations, inserted drawings in eps, excell and vision and pasted from the clipboard. I do not know what caused the problem

If I have multiple documents open that were created in Word and am clicking between them Word will just close, by itself, all of a sudden in the middle of working. I have tried to reinstall Word, but it still continues to happen. I don't lose the information that I am working on ...

I am trying to make sure that a document a user sends will open in print layout view. We have saved the document while it was in the print layout view, but whenever we open it, it opens in normal view. How can I correct this?

Multiple "Attach as Adobe PDF" buttons seem to appear randomly on my Word toolbar. Sometimes there may be up to a dozen buttons. Is there a setting somewhere that will enable be to permanently prevent these buttons being added? Thanks

I want the normal.dot file to use normal view but it keeps going to page layout when I start word after booting the computer. I've tried editing normal.dot but for some reason it doesn't save the changes after reboot.

Word 2003 has an option under "Clear Formatting" which will remove all of the formatting from a document. Does Word 2000 have the same or a similar feature I have looked everywhere? Thanks in advance
