I am trying to create a contract which is numbered and the contract number
will advance each time the document is opened. How?

We originally thought we wanted the captions below our tables and figures in
our document. However, now it's been decided that they should be above the
tables/figures. Is there any way to change this automatically for all
captions, or am I stuck going through manually?

In word can I create postcards 51/2 X 41/4  or 4 X 6.  I'm a realtor and have

Does MS Word xp open .odt Open office documents?

I want to have certain capital letters combined with either forward or back
slashes.  Take the letter "D" and have "/" or "\" on top of it, instead of
before or after it.  Is this possible, or do I need a custom font?  If there
IS a custom font, what is it

I am setting up a template in which I need to protect it to limit the styles

How do i change the same word throught out the whole document, but only doing
it one time? i don't know if that was very clear so let me try and give an
example.  so you have the word MARCH through out the whole word document and
you need to change it to March.  how do you do ...

When I enter quotation marks I have to press enter for them to appear or to
enter the letters I want to type after them. How can I change this behaviour,
in order the quotation marks to appear as I type then, before typing the
letters?

A simple instruction, like press the bold button, wou;d be a lot clearer if I
could put a copy of the button itself in line with the text. Trouble is, I
can't work out how to do it! Doh...

I've been searching all the Customize Quick Access Toolbar options and cannot
find Equation Editor. I really need this directly on the toolbar so I don't
have to go Insert - Object - Select from popup.

The grammar and spelling feature will not check several sections of a word
text document, while it appears to work correctly in the rest of the
