There is a scientific symbol, ~ over capital X, that I need to reproduce in
Word and have not been able to do so.  Can anyone help?

when i typ info adn then hit enter, the cursor does not proceed to the next
line but jumps to the bottom of the page. like when i am typing an outline
with my topics and wnat to on to the next line, it justs keeping going from
the top to the bottom

Just to see if anyone noticed the same problem:
Going into the "File" icon (upper left hand side) drop down menu in Word or
Excel and selecting "Finish" then "Properties from the "Finish" sub-menu; the
"properties" window that appears above your document window is extremely slow

I am trying to create a web form that can be printed once it is completed.  I
would like to create a multi-line text box that will print all lines of the
box.  How can I do this?  It seems to only print the line that can visibly be
seen on the screen.

In equation Editor in Word XP there were shortcuts to super and
sub-scripts.  This doesn't seem to be the case in Word 2007 Beta 2.  In
addition to this, on inserting a sub or super-script (manually), it
creates a 'space/box' for normal text, and then a another 'space/box'

When I open Word, it doesn't open in the complete window.  It appears towards
the top of my screen, but not all the way - about one inch from the top.  I
can't see the bottom tool bars and I can't expand it.  The only way to get
the full screen view is to open an old document.  ...
