I want to create a serie of labels with sequencial numbers like 34001, 34002,
34003
I guess that I should use some kind of number field, but which one should I
use and how do I make it start at 34001 to go to 34002 at the next label.

Put the most used items in this area into a right click menu. Things like
date, filename, page number, total pages, last printed, last saved... this
would be great. Where they are now isn't easy enough to find.

My document on screen is showing points on the rulers instead of inches or
centimetres and lines to outline the margins, but there not border lines.  
How can I change the points back to inches or centimetres and get rid of the
lines?

I do work in linguistics and have been assigning various characters to
shortcut keys.  I haven't had a problem until I try to assign a character to
ALT+D.  All the other shortcuts I made work fine.  I've tried assigning
different characters to ALT+D but none of them will appear ...

Every time I close a document in Word 2003 - File, Close - the entire program
closes.  Is there a setting for this that I can change?

I am using Microsoft Office Word 2003 and I have entered a date in  a
document using the Insert Menu and then clicking on the date and time and
then chose the format I wanted and clicked ok, but after word enters it into
the document it doesn't show up as a smart tag. It doesn't ...

I've just installed the Office 2007 beta and was immediately surprised when I
couldn't scroll a word document.  I'm in the Print Layout view, and when I
scroll down, to get to lower in the page, or even the next page, nothing
happens.  However, I can scroll quite fine in popup ...

When I look under tools -> options and under the tab compatibility -> font
subsitution I can see which fonts the document wants to use.
I need to know the exact PS or font name to get the right font to buy. How
can I get that from Word? Can I at least search for the missing fonts ...

Since I got office 2003 I dont have dutch in spelling controle. I can choose
Dutch as language but I get error messege when trying to do spelling
controle. It asks me to download proofing tools(???).
What are those and where do I download it?

I have office xp for student & teachers. I'm trying to find the Schema
Library. I've looked in tools->templates & addins it isn't there

I am working on a document that lot of people are updating. Saturday I
received one of the member's files and the document was tripled in size.  I

if i have a bulleted list, how do i randomly change the order?

I am using Word 2000.  I am starting sentences with "A'rron", when spell
checking Word wants to chang it to "An".  I can not find a setting to stop
this.  Is there a setting to stop this, and if so what is it?
