I'm using Word 2002.
We need to create a style that saves a background colour but the colour
should only apply to the selected text and not to the whole paragraph.
This can be done manually - which is what we currently do - but I can't find

I have some new custom dictionaries that all my users should use. How can
custom dictionaries be added other than by getting them to do it themselves?
I investigated using the Custom Maintenance Wizard; it doesn't cover custom
dictionaries.

It is difficult to align paragraphs that have been configured for auto
numbering.  Tabbing causes the numbers to become a subcategory instead of
indenting the text 5 spaces like a typewriter.

I just got a new computer and am using Microsoft Word 2003.  While I am
typing a letter several things are occuring; the font and the style changes
constantly, it indents automatically on something that shouldn't be indented,
and it seems to open a new blank word document ...

I need to keep track of my small business expenses. Is there an easy to use

The page numbering in my word document footer is highlighted and I would like
to remove it. The document is on a common drive and if I access it from a
different computer the page numbers are not highlighted.

How can I set up page numbers to number a 6 page document as 1 of 3, 2 of 3,
3 of 3 two separate times rather than 1 of 6, 2 of 6, 3 of 6, etc.

when i try to download a pdf file it comes up in code. made english default,
but will not work. some other foreign language will work but not english.

Is there a Wizard or Template to make a Will

I'm using Word 2003 and the footnote text doesn't appear as a style despite
the drop down box at head containing it.  It's a puzzle.  Can anybody tell me
what I'm doing wrong?

I have a 200+ page doc, with 20+ sections. I am having problems with adding
cross-reference links in the headers, and instead get "ERROR MAIN DOCUMENT
ONLY".
I also get the same message when I try to add page numbers. It is NOT a mail

Need a letter asking for donations and/or prizes for annual employee
