only one work or phrase is selected to be bold, underlined, or italicized?  
When this happens, the only correction is the “undo typing” button or
(Ctrl+Z).

Every time I open Word it takes me to the same previous document. I have gone
to My Documents and deleted it but it still opens at that document rather
than a blank one. How can I clear this out?

Most items in the tool bar of Word (and Access and Outlook) are greyed
out...eg I cannot copy and paste. This problem has suddenly appeared with no
obvious trigger.
I have tried Detect and Repair to no avail.  I have also tried System

All of the sudden, when I right-click in a word document, nothing happens.
The menu doesn't show up. I can right-click in Excel and the other Offices
apps, and the proper shortcut menu appears. I've uninstalled Office and
reinstalled, but no luck. Any ideas?
