Hi, In my document, I have lots of footnotes: 1 ... 200.  Down at the bottom,
where the footnotes are, sometimes there is a double space between where one
ends and the next one starts, like this:
1 Sitation about cows

Pretty much self-explanatory.
If I insert a "puzzle" layout cover page and print, it works fine.
If I insert a picture into the page, only the left colum (2/3s of page) is
sent to the printer.

I have Works Suite 2002 installed. After a hard drive failure and repair, I
reinstalled the Works  but it won't let me open Word, even after submitting
25 digit code. I have a ton of documents I need to get to.

I am trying to open a file in my secondary hard drive which is a word pad
document, but everytime I click on to it to open it, it comes up with  "Can
not load word for windows 6.0 files". I have now got ...

I am modifying a Word document I downloaded from a website.  On the bottom of
each page it shows as a footnote "Version 1.0, 11/28/2005".  How do I remove
this from the document?  I am using Word 2003.

I'm working in Word and "Save" and "Save As" are greyed out.  I can save a
new document by clicking on the little save shortcut icon, but if I want to
take an existing document and save it as something else I can't do it????

I am trying to use the Find/Replace wildcard syntax and add Heading 1

Hi, everytime I try and print a word document it only prints on half of an A4
page instead of the full page. Even though print preview shows the document
to cover the full page? Can someone help:-)

Over the years the start-up of my Word has become more and more slow. The

When I try to indent or outdent, either by dragging the icons on the ruler or
by clicking the automatic indent/outdent buttons, the ruler doesn't "snap to"
the half-inch or quarter-inch measurements. For instance, if I try to indent
half an inch, the cursor snaps to 0.48 instead. ...

If you receive a  document that has been merged with Compare and Merge (not
track changes), can you somehow accept the changes and get a clean document?

Having trouble with the auto formatting of fractions othe than 1/2 and
occasionally 1/4. Any ideas??
