Word should let me view both the footnote the document map panes.15 Oct 2006 20:21 GMT1
This is a suggestion: Word should let me footnote the document map panes at
the same time. When you open one it closes the other in draft and web layout
view. I have to keep switching between both. Worse still, in web layout view
in moving from the foot note pane to the document ...

Word should have a bibliography feature15 Oct 2006 19:17 GMT1
As a college student who constantly has to write essays and cite countless
sources in them, an automated bibliography feature would be great to have for
that last "Works Cited" page.
Similarly, an automated way of citing sources should be developed for the
File Minimize/Maximize Buttons15 Oct 2006 18:50 GMT2
I've lost my file minimize and maximize buttons for Word XP, SP2.  I still
have my X to close out the file.  I also still have my  program command
buttons.  This is the only program that is affected, so I'm assuming it's
something I've done, rather than an update problem.

I'm a fiction writer and I use Microsoft Word primarily to compose my prose.
I find myself often going to Notepad (alongside Word) in order work on a
specific sentence's composition. It would be nice if Word had a scratch pad
feature for this purpose. I like to experiment with my ...

Print format is different from screen view.15 Oct 2006 08:00 GMT1
My line spacing in the printout does not match my screen view. I formated my
template for single space, but in "print view" and in actual print out, my
spacing is doubled or tripled. How do I fix the formating so my "Normal" view
is the same as what I print?
How do I convert wordperfect labels to word labels?15 Oct 2006 05:50 GMT2

converting they loose all the formatting.  I have several files that have to
be converted so this is not a quick job.  Any ...

How can I delete a marked block of text without confirming it?15 Oct 2006 05:08 GMT2
Microsoft Word 2003:
When I mark a block of text -- a word, line, sentence, etc. -- and press the
Delete key, I have to confirm it with Y.  This is new behavior, and I would
like to disable the confirmation step.  I can't find an option to do that.
