How do I create a toolbar of symbols I use regularly within microsoft
word?

Have things changed since January 2005? When I tried, the ^| combination was
rejected as not an acceptable entry in the 'Find' box. I didn't get to check
^p. I was trying to make the replacement in a (large) selection, not the
whole document. Could that have something to do with ...

I follow the guidelines in "HELP," but still can't get WORD to number pages
with both chapter and page number, as in 1-1 for first page of chapter 1, 2-1
for first page of chapter 2, etc.  Need to do so to meet a publisher's
requirements.  Can anyone advise me.

With Word 2003, I want to assign a keystroke shortcut to the Insert Bookmark
menu command to pull up the dialog box.  But when I go to Tools >>
Customize, Keyboard, it's not in the Insert or AllCommands lists.  Is there
something I've missed here?

I've invested years in creating macors and styles in Word.  I can load my
normal.dot into Word 2007 so I have my styles etc, but how do I make it the
default template so that Word 2007 uses it?  In the past I've just put it

I successfully created a macro, but forgot to name it -- and apparently it's
not the first time, lol.  How can I rename Macro8 to something more
descriptive and useful?

I have a user who is trying to create some mailing labels. However, when she
begins the page appears blank, there are no grid lines to separate the
entries. I have never seen this before. Usually they appear automatically.

I've just re-built my computer--AMD FX-62 with 2 GIG RAM--and I find that
