I need to remove "<" and ">" from a document full of them so that it may be adapted to an html page for obvious reasons. I'm trying to use Find & Replace to just remove those two characters but have only found solutions that will eliminate all punctuation which is not what I want.

I used to be able to use the "highlight text and delete by either typing over or using backspace" method. Don't seem to be able to do this anymore on Windows 2003. Can someone help me find out how? Thanks

I have seen it done but cannot do it myself. I know that there is a print screen keystroke, then open a word doc & hit backspace and the screen is produced in the word doc.
