I can't find this particular question yet, so here goes. When I print a document in B/W containing comments, the comments shows up nicely in the right margin, but the line to the highlighted text is way too light, and the highlighting of text doesn't show up at all. Is there a way ...

User is running OS 2k and Office 2k. Each time she opens a Word doc, does nothing to it, she still gets the question if she wants to save changes to the document. She said this happens everytime she is in Word whether she makes changes or not.

I'm using a Courier, 12-pt. font for a message and then saving it in plain text format. When I reopen the file, the text has changed to a 10.5-pt. font. Is there any way to keep the 12-pt. font from changing to a 10.5-pt font when saving in plain text format?

For some reason some of the standard short keys in Word 2003 don't work... like Alt/F8 to bring up the macro screen. What might cause this? Running Win XP Pro on a relatively new Dell.

I'm using outline numbering. When inserting Listnum fields in Word 2000, I can block the field and press Tab (or Shift+Tab) to select which outline number level I want in any particular field. However, in Word 2007, I just get a tab. I've tried Ctrl+Tab, too, but it doesn't work ...

We have our workgroup templates on the network. We configure Word 2000 to that location on the network. For Example: S:\Templates. But sometimes users lose the location of the workgroup templates. The other configurations made stay intact.

Using the Tools, Track Changes facility on a word document, you can then choose to View as Markup which removes the highlighted text and bubble info. But, as soon as you close the document and re-open it, the changes appear again. Is there an option to always hide the tracked ...

When opening documents, it can take up to 15 seconds to open (and slightly shorter) to close word documents. The “egg timer” appears for part of this time (whilst Word is analyzing document appears at the bottom of the screen) but then disappears. There are several seconds ...
