How can I import templates which I have made Word 2003 into Word 2007

We are in the process of transferring from Windows 2000 with Office 2000 to
Windows XP with Office 2003. The problem is that we have a large quantity of
Word documents created in Office 2000 that do not open in Office 2003. I do
not know if it is a problem in Office 2003 or ...

Where, if any, is the setting that sets the very first letter in a paragraph
to be capped and about 2-3 lines tall...but ONLY that first letter?

Could you tell me how to set up a return address with a logo in Word 2007?
I had this set up in Workd 2002 but can't figure it out witht eh newer

I am experiencing problems when trying to close MS Word 2003 that seem
connected to the file Normal.dot. Here is the sequence of events;
1) I start MS Word 2003.
2) When I then immediately try to close Word by clicking the X at upper

When I open an existing word document and I want to save it as a different
file, both "Save" and "Save As" are greyed out.  
If I create a new word file they are also greyed out but when I close word
it will ask me if I want to save my file and give me the option to name it

Whenever I open a Word doc, new or existing, the control toolbar opens
automatically. I never use it and really want the screen real estate back.
I'm sick of closing it manually but can't figure out how to get it to stop
opening. I don't even know why it started in the first ...

I'm applying outline numbering to an agreement where Level 1 ("Article I") of
the outline is centered on the page with no text after the number. In Word
2000, I could elect to have a tab after the number or not to have one

I have been working on this document for about a month and have had no
problems with my undo tool.  Today I started editing again and everytime I
