It seems I can't get rid of this symbol. I've tried hitting the "show/hide" button and that does nothing at all. I've closed out of Word (2003) and re-opened and they are still there, even on a new blank document. Any suggestions?

The above two options are not available to me in word or in Outlook (when I am attaching a word file from "my documents"). I am not very technical but if someone can help put the above two options in I would be very grateful.

I have literally thousands of old .dat files in Wordperfecy 6.1 that I need to convert to Word .doc documents for searching purposes. I do not need to maintain the ability to do merges or other features with the old files, just convert them to .doc files.

I have a ten page report, and it prints every page, with the exception of page 3. Page 3 has a header with our company logo and address and three paragraphs of text, but only the logo prints. I can print page 3 individually and it prints everything. Can you please help.

If I have 2 sessions of Word 2003 open at the same time and in the first session I open a form, it locks the second sessions so I can’t do anything in it while the form is open in the first session. Is there any way to fix this?

When I open Word 2002 from the Start button the file menu is missing. In the usual upper left hand site for "File" is "Save As". How do I get Word to return to its original default opening with the "File" menu available once more?
