When I apply italics to some text the cursor disappears when it is in that text. It reappears when it goes over non-italicised text. Is there any way to stop this happening?

I have a computer iwth invisibles on like a paragraph sign and other invisibles. How do I turn this feature off? I tried to find it in the Office Assistant but no luck.

can anyone please tell me how to change my microsoft word so that it starts up with only one collumn and not two. I have only ever used double collumns once and ever since it always comes up. Cheers

on my job someone made an assignment sheet that has some fields protected with a password. now they decided to make a change to the sheet that has been used for over 15 years. the person who made the sheet is dead and the password went with him.

Can anyone tell me how to stop the EULA being displayed on the opening screen each time I open Word 2003 (and also Excel 2003). I click that I accept the Licence, but when I come to open Word again I get the same EULA shown.
