when i start typing a new work document and hit enter to go to the next line
the cursor skips half way down the page instead of just going to the next
line.  Do I have some setting engaged that I am not aware of?  

I just upgraded to Vista using Office 2000.  When I open Word I get the
following message:  "The global template Nornal.Dot is already open as an
addin program"
How can I eliminate this message.

I want to be able to just open the one document and print all at once.
(Currently, I must open each file separately, set the properties and then
print.)

all printed documents are blank

I have a document that was originally composed using Works ( quite a while
ago). I had converted it to a Word document (quite a while ago). Now, when I
try to open it in Word 2003 it sometimes will and sometimes won't. It does

Whenever I start word, (from the Start Menu Shortcut) I get a word window
with a blank new document open.  How can I change this shortcut so that I get
a word window with NO document open, and instead a window with my templates,

Is anyone experiencing the same problem?  I have no problem transferring the
