Hi!  My computer, operating system, Windows Vista, experienced an error and
saved a word file as rescue.asd.  I can not get the file to open.  The error
message states that Word does not recognize the file type.  Any suggestions
as to what I can do to recover the file...or what ...

I have a long document, with a footer including the page number. How can I
set it so that selected pages have no footer, while keeping the footer for
the rest?

When I receive .jpg pictures in MS Outlook and try to open them the program
tries to use Word to view them.  I have looked at every option in Outlook and
can not find one that lets me select a photo viewer of any kind.  Right
clicking on the file does not offer an "open with" ...

Everytime I start WORD the new document has words already there. Somehow I've
saved this document as my blank new document. How do I change so I have a
blank document when I start WORD or pull up a new document?

Im using word 2003 and I have created 3 forms.  The forms are all in the same
place, one following the other, so when I fill them out, they all print at
once.  Each form is different, but many fields are repetative.  Is there a

I hade microsoft word as part of PC pakcage from Fujitsu /Sieman before i
tried this microsoft office word Beta during 2006. Office beta is now locked
due to end of test periode  and i have been ask to delete and i have not done

I have the microsoft access for XP but i have less than 50 fonts.  However,
on another computer in my house, it have around 200 (around) fonts.  Is there
a patch or a way to get all the fonts that should be in microsoft office?

Everytime I open a new Word document it opens with the default set as a two
