button which I want to assign a shortcut for that will execute a macro. It's
something I've done many times but this particular file doesn't seem to

Is there a limit to the number of Word files that may be contained in a
single folder?  Are there problems with having say, 5,000 - 7,000 files in a
single folder?

I've created a document with multiple sections, as well as footnotes.
The footnotes are continuous, 1 through whatever, throughout the

I have 33 separate documents that are formatted in different outline styles;
each section ranges between 3 and 34 pages each. In order to create one
document that will create a table of contents, do all of the formats have to
be the same outline. Is this why I am having trouble? ...

If I highlight and retype in the middle of some text, and type a space it now
deletes the text coming after it.  How do I stop it doing that?  It's even
doing it in this box!  This is Office 2003.

I insert an ASK field, give the bookmark a name.  As this will only work
once, I add a REF field referring to the bookmark but this does not work as
the bookmark seems to vanish.  What am I doing wrong?

When I open my MS Word 03 program, I started getting a message asking if I
would like to enable macros.  Is this a problem? Does anyone know how I can

I am trying to change a word .doc to a .jpeg file.  Right now I change to a
.tif in print toolbar then save as to desktop.  I then open in picture
manager, then do a save as to .jpeg file.  The problem is if there is color
images, I lose the color.  Is there a better way to do ...

I´ve created index using 'Index' and 'Auto mark' function but not all words
are includet in in.
for example - however word "book" is on page 14,20 and 56 in index is
mentioned only 14.

I have a word 2003 doc that is 101,000 KB.  I have a number of pictures which
I tried to compress, but the compress button does not seem to work for this
file.  I made a copy of the file and deleted the pictures and the file size
stayed the same.  Could this be a virus?

u know how much im crying rite now?.. i spent like 3 days making a damn
physics presentation and i didnt do anything to it..IT GOT ERASED.. I kept on
saving it and now its gone
