Suddenly italics has stopped working for Times New Roman font. It continues to work on other fonts. All other font characteristics continue to work on Times New Roman - bold, bold italics. But when I try to italicize, it switches to what appears to be an un-italicized arial font.

when reading the MVP sponsored book, it suggests to use built-in styles as much as possible (instead of making up your own names). Most built-in styles are self-explanatory. However, the ones for lists are a little confusing. There are 5 different ones (all paragraph styles)...

When holding backspace and/or arrow keys the bar jumps one letter at-the-time. Far too slowl, compared to the way it always worked. What controls the speed of these (repeating) functions? Thanks for help.

The header box is fully 1/3 of the top of the page. I am unable to find the reason. I've turned on paragraph marks, searched for hidden text or graphics....nothing seems to move the head back to the normal size.

I have a letter on my screen and when I use the envelope feature under tools, letters and mailings, envelopes, the text in the envelope window comes out double spaced on all lines, rather than single. This happens whether you select the text or not. Any ideas???!!!
