How do I put different texture backgrounds on different pages in Word?

I uses the "change text direction" option a lot and in Word 2007 I can't
seems to find it.  Is it still an option or do I have to make the text a text
box and rotate that - not helpful as I rotate text in tables

My coworkers and I have recently been encountering problems with some W97

be able to type Realtor® and the trademark came up automatically.  How can I

Is there an "automatically update document styles" function in word 2007 or
somethign equivalent?
I know i can use the organizer but i find that to be less convenient.
Maybe im just not as comfortable with it yet-

For the life of me I can't figure out a way to do auto text.  And installing
the new version wiped out my previously stored auto text entries.  Can
someone help me find a way to do this again?

I think that some of the docs i am working on have some strange option chosen
to not spell check the text cos when i run spell check on them it says that
it cannot find any errors even if i know there are? Its not a fault as if i
open a new document it works fine.

I have Office 2007. In Word 2007, I can't for the life of me, figure out how
to "save as".  I've looked at "more commands" under the "customize quick
access toolbar", and there is not a "save as" option.
Very frustrating....

I used to be able to convert word docs into a PDF format but for some reason
now I cant.  Any suggestions on why I longer can, and more importantly, how I
can start converting docs into PDFs going forward?

I have an extra blank page in a document.  On the subsequent page the first
format style is a Heading level 1 with a page break before coded into the
style.  If I remove the page break in the style problem with the missing page
goes away but now my heading level 1 doesn't start ...
