I'm trying to create a master document (Md) which consists solely of other
word documents (Cd).
I can successfully insert links to the files (Cd) within the master (Md),
but if one of the child documents has more than one page only the first page

I have a large word document with several excel charts embedded. Each time a
users adds text, the excel charts move causing huge problems with the headers
and footers of the excel files, etc. Is there any way to lock the excel files
and prevent what's now happening?

I know nothing about digital signatures.  I only have Word 2000.  Is there a
way to put a authenticated digital signature in a Word document?

I created a few Word template files (.dot format) and uploaded them to my
SharePoint site.  However, when a visitor clicks on the file link (within
SharePoint), it immediately converts and saves the file as a .doc file.  
Strangely, it does this with IE -- but Mozilla and Safari ...

I keep getting asked to save changes to my normal template when I close
Outlook - are there any dangers in deselection "Prompt for changes to normal

Hi, I am working on a document that the final is going to folks in UK and
Europe. For this particular document I want to use the UK Dictionary, so word
will flag mis-spelled words such as "organization, realize", etc. to the UK
convention of "organisation, realise, etc.

I created a macro in my document.  When I was done with it, I deleted it.  
However, I still get the macros security warning when I open the document.  
How do I get rid of any hidden references to the macro I deleted?

I am typing up a document and I use shift and the and dash button to make a
line. However, when I go to type on the line it spaces out. How can I avoid
this. I want to type on the line without it making a skip in the line.

i've just been setting up Autocorrect on Word 2003, and for example i've
programmed in Quercus to be replaced by Quercus in italics so far so good.  
But then it decides to replace it with Betula in italics (another word I've
programmed in!!).  I then have to go and delete both ...

I am running Word 2002.  I received a document and I can't edit it.
I'm not sure how the write protection is implemented. I tried changing
macro security to high, and disabling VBA, but it didn't allow me to
edit.

My old notebook dropped dead and I had office XP (word 2002?) professional
installed on that computer with window XP as operative system. I have now
bought a new notebook with windows Vista as operating system. What to do? Can
I install  without problems. Or do I have to do ...

I can print on my user, but my husband can't print on his user.  the printer
is listed in the control panel while he is logged on.  any suggestions

The recent file list is greyed out in the general options. How can I turn it
on?
