i am having trouble doing a template for work..  i want to be able  to enter
certain fields, without a data base, and so when the first field changes they
all change, could some one help me please..  this is very verve racking..

Our Outlook locks up from time to time.  I noticed that when that happened,
Word also locked up.  Is this because Word is my Outlook e-mail editor, and
is there a way to avoid Word lockups during Outlook lockups and still keep
Word as the e-mail editor?

When I paste a block of text without tabs and the select text plus one line
above (with tabs) the tabs are light gray and difficult to see and click on.
Is it possible to change the tabs to another colour or maintain the normal
black.

I have a document created using the metric scale. I want it converted to US
measurments (e.g. when I go to page setup it is in cm and I want inches). How
do I make this change?

I have entered Headers and Footers in a Word Document and although it is
displayed correctly within the document on screen as in Page 1 of 2 etc when
I print the document I get Field Text

I have created a list of hyperlinks which work just dandy. I select the
entire list and highlight it to apply a color to the text. In this case I
selected dark red. In my open for editing document all is good. I then save
the document and open Internet Explorer to view it as ...

In Word 2007, when I press Control and Enter together I get a bold line
across the page which seems impossible to get rid of. When I print, there it
is on the page. Help please!

I want to make an auto correct entry that will make the completed entry
italicized. But the option to do so on my auto correct menu is grayed out.
How can I get that option to work?

I am trying to create a footer in Word in that the page numbers will start
with a whole number and then the following pages will follow with .1, .2.

I'm on Word for Mac 2004. I have a CREATEDATE field that refuses to update
unless you right-click on it and select "Update Field," even if you do a
"Save As" under another name. I've tried just deleting the field and

In Word 2007, by pressing CTRL and then something, I have created bold lines
across the page which are apparently undeletable. When the document is
printed they print too. Can someone please help.
