I have 2 UserGuides, EN and FR. They have lots of pictures, same things; however the Englis version is 19,000 MB and the French one only 2,800 MB. How can I shrink the English one?

Hi all. At times when i try to save my ms word file i get the error "The file normal already exists. Do you want to replace the existing file?". How can i resolve this? Thks in advance.

It is important to me to be able to read a specialist font in the tool tips. This used to be available through right clicking on the desktop, properties/Appearance/Advanced and set the tool tip in the dialogue. It appears that Word 2007 is overiding these settings with its own

in word 2003 I would type the first few letters and autotext choice would pop up. i could then push enter to insert the text. i can't seem to figure out how to do this in word 2007. Help! and THANKS

Can Word (or Word Templates) be locked down to stop users modifying the styles when they create documents? The documents start off with half a dozen style, and when they have finished they have 80!

Error logs are generated for web display and commonly run ~250 pages. When I try to import them into WORD they run ~2500! Can someone please tell me how to get WORD to ignore the HTML, or make a suggestion for writng a macro that will automate the process?

By a process of elimination, I've determined that some symbols are making adobe fail when converting a Word document. I found another post in this or another group saying that adobe will crash if a font is not authorized for pdf conversion. I don't want to take the symbol
