We do desktop publishing in Word. We need to delete pages here and there throughout the 100 + page document. Is it possible to do and keep the remaining pages with the exact same formatting including those remaining pages to keep the same page numbers, etc.? Thanks.

hi, I can't find an option to do OCR in Word 2007, like formerly with Document Imagaing in Word 2003. I need to scan text from an existing TIFF file.

I have 3 styles that I use most of the time. Occassionally I use another style which then replaces one of my 3 styles that are displayed. Is there any way to select which styles appear on the Styles group (without having to click down arrow)?

RIi created a 200 page document. Each page was a text box. Some of the text entered in some of the pages was a different font. I wanted it all Times New roman. I assumed when I was through entering text, I could do a Select All and change the font for all text at one time. But ...

I'm not sure if anyone has run into this problem yet but I'm using Word 2007 to create a new document. I've gone thru all the steps and slected the headings for the content table but for what ever reason I'm not gettign the proper display of contents instead getting displayed ...

Is there a way to make the search and replace dialogue box go away while searching after you key in your search criteria. It always seems to be in the way and I have to move it to the corner of the screen

I can't link more than one text box - when I try to link text box 2 and 3 (to make a text box chain), the link toggle is disabled. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I selected the text in a one-word paragraph and changed the font effect to "Hidden". But now if I type any new text it also becomes hidden. How can I stop this? Here's an example:

Is it just me or does Alt A no longer select the whole of the document in Word 2007. In previous versions of Word Alt A would select the whole document including headers and footers. Now it appears to only select the main text of a document.
