when creating a hyperlink my mouse pointer will not change into a hand symbol when it is moved over the text, it shows I need to press ctrl+click to open the hyperlink. I just want to see the hand and click and not have to use the ctrl+click. Is there a way to change this action.

I just installed Office 2000 Professional on a new hard drive in this machine. Most of the tool bar icons are visible in word but inoperable. I am unable to create a "New File" and cannot therefore access any of the wizzards.

In Word 2003, the Index and TOC styles are not listed in the Styles and Formatting pane. AFAIK you have to do as if you're creating a new index or TOC, chose From Template, and modify the styles from there. (Unintuitive to begin with, but whatever.)

I access my FTP location when attempting to publish to the web and only to find the location without any folder. However, when I access it through the web-address (i.e. without opening Publisher), i do see the folder i'm suppost to save my _index file to. What could I be doing wrong ...
