Morning, okay this issue is that I keep getting those annoying little boxes
all the time now when I open any word document...any ideas on how to rectify
this..

In word 2007 I have an annoyance of a problem whereby I can set the file
format as described in the subject line, however as soon as the computer is
restarted it will revert back to the .docx format.  I am support for 100
users that are forgetting to change this setting every day ...

how do I change the format of something, eg. windows xp word documents, so
that tey work on windows vista basic?

Does anyone know how to insert jpeg picture which is my company
letterhead/logo and enable me to type over letterhead? I tried to insert it
as a watermark but the colour was very fainted so I can't use it. Thxs!

I'm currently running Word 2k and the ruler is no longer displayed. I can
move my mouse over the ruler area and it appears ... then disappears. It was
there a little while ago but not anymore.
I also seem to have lost the View\Ruler option within Word.

I would like to add 2000+ pairs to the AutoCorrect list in Word 2007 and Word
2006 and Word 2005.  Everything that I have seen on the Microsoft site says
that I have to write a macro.   Is there some other utility or function that
would allow me to do it.

(In Word 2003)  I use the CTRL+PageDown keyboard shortcut often to
move page by page through documents.  Sometimes, though, it doesn't
move page by page, but from one odd position to another.  The Help
files say this should only be for page by page.

After e-printing a word document (with pictures) to a PDF file a

When I double click on a folder icon, the search box opens. I can only open
folders by right clicking and selecting open.
The open command is the second command when I right click, instead of the
first.
