I'm trying to do a document that has hyperlinks, but, because the hyperlinks
use password (ftp://user:password@url.com) I would like to hide it.   Is
there any way to do it, or, in other hand, insert the username and password
in another way, in order to hide them to the person ...

Ribbon -> Insert -> Symbols -> arrow next to 'Equation' -> Insert New Equation
I get no 'Design' tab and, therefore, no 'Structures' group, no 'Symbols'
group and no 'Tools' group.
In short, I cannot find a way to create an equation in Word 2007.  All I get

I'm working on old Word documents that have two spaces after the periods, and
I need to eliminate one space. I'd like to be able to change them all in one
fell swoop, and I think I should be able to do that with wildcards in Find
and Replace.

I have tried the response on the KB about inline formatting but to no avail.

I created a graphic in CS3 Adobe Illustrator.  I was having difficulty saving
the image after it was created, so I copied it and saved it in MS Word 2004
for Mac.  After speaking with tech support regarding my inability to save in
CS3, they recommended I uninstall and reinstall ...

Has anyone ever created an E-Book using Word 2007?  Since Word 2007 is able
to save files in pdf format, I wondered if this was sufficient to create an
E-Book with cover that could be marketed on a website?

Is there any way to ignore the left or right margin settings when typing in a
Word 2007 document. On old typewriters (remember when we all used them?) we
were able to type over a margin when we pressed a certain key. Is this
available in Word?

I let my friend use my computer...and he doesn't know what he did...but now
every time i try to type something it won't show up. At the bottom tool bar
it says the modification is not allowed because the selection is locked..
can somone help me figure out how to unlock this ...

Somehow my header default has been changed.  Everytime Iopen a new blank word
file and view the header it is really long (half the page) regardless of what
is type din it.  I tried to change the height  on the ruler to the left of
the page but it doesn't seem to want to go where ...

Now have Word 2007 using Vista.
Whenever I print a label, not only does the lable print, but then I get on
regular paper the address printed out, and after that, a blank sheet of paper
is spewed out of the printer.

I have a database in Excel that contains information for employees.  In the
database an employee can have several salary adjustment amounts that I want
to merge into a Word document.  After it pulls in all the information for one
employee I'd want it to page break and populate ...

I'm using Word 2003.  I am not able to copy from e-mail or a web site, to a
word document.  I've always been able to do this very easily.
I am still able to copy and paste within an e-mail or within a word
document - just not from one of these two to WORD.

I've distributed a form protected for fields and several of these will
return to me each day. I have about 20 fields with bookmarks in the form and
would like to extract the data from these files in a batch process to an
Access table.
