I have a document with a watermark on the first page. However when it becomes
a multi-page document, the watermark appears on every page. How do I change
it so that the watermark shows only on the first page?

I've installed outlook on my nwe computer, but can't figure out how to
bring my old tasks and calendar from my old comuter. I've created
a .pst file and moved it to the new desktop and imported it as the
microsoft support page says, but I still don't have my items showing

Windows Vista locked up or crashed apparently damaging the only Word document
open. I re-opened Word and restored the document. Now however I get an error
message "check temp envirnoment variable" and Word will not open the
document. Have tried System Restore, no good because it ...

Somehow I've lost the scroll bar in Word 2007....and cannot find a way to

I am having a rather strange problem with Word 2007. When the word "Christ"
comes at the end of a line, Word hyphenates it as "Chr-" on one line and
"ist" on the next. This makes no sense since monosyllabic words are never
hyphenated.

Is there any way I can get a text box to allow a picture to be layed out
"tight" wrapped inside the box?

I want to number all my heading in a Word document as follows:
Heading 1 numbered as 1.
Heading 2 numbered as 1.1
If I add another Heading 2 within Heading 1, I want the number to be 1.2.

I have a serial letter which is just one page long. Is there a way in
