I want to have my additions to the quick access toolbar show up in each document I open as I have added several things to it. I have tried to save the document as Normal2.dotm, then deleted Normal.dotm and renamed Normal2.dotm to Normal.dotm, but this didn't work.

I send many my PowerPoint presentation to Word using the Send to Word feature. I like the resulting table format in Word, but the file sizes are huge. At one point I thought I read about a way to break the links and reduce the file size. Am I dreaming?

I cannot delete a picture from my Word 2003 document. I have tried everything I know of, and the pic is not anchored. I selected the box and performed a 'cut'... small window pops up and says 'The selection is marked as deleted text'. However, it never goes away....

Our company templates are suppose to have the cursor open to a specific line when the template is opened. Upon our last update, the cursor now opens to line 1 instead of line 15. How do I get the cursor to open on a specific line? Thanks

When I open Word documents simply to print them, when I go to close them again I get prompted as to whether I want to save any changes, even though I haven't made any. Why does Word do this (when, say, OpenOffice Writer doesn't)? Is there a way

I have no idea how this user accomplished this, but when Word opens it always opens with a flier the employee created in a previous session, that particular document has been deleted, but even when you click File/New it opens the new document with that flier. I have tried ...

Here's my situation: Running Office 2003 Pro with SP2 installed. Only Outlook is open. I'm not sure if this is relevant, but Outlook is configured to NOT use Word for editing purposes. I receive a document from Hong Kong with a Word doc attached.

Can you somehow designate a row in the middle of a table as a repeat header row? I have a few introductory rows that I'd like to keep attached to my Word table before the row (the fourth row of the table) I actually want to repeat at the head of the page.
