I am using MS WOrd 2003
I received a document as an attachment in Word.
I downloaded the document, but did not save it into a new file.
I worked on the document for quite a while, making changes.

Under documents in Word I created Mailing list in alpha order.  Now I want to
insert new member in alpha order and can't find a way. Help please?

I'm committing the egregious cross-post, because the other group doesn't
seem that often visited.
I've gotten surprisingly far with replacing formatting in a Word document
with html tags, but one thing is not working.

When I use Outline View in Word 2003, I can disable "Show Formatting",
which yields a font that looks like Times [Roman?].  How set the font
that is used?  Thanks.

I was trying to set up a form for the word application. This is actually for
a letter use. So when a user opens up the template, a form comes up for user
to enter data in. Once finished, press ok which would then put the data into
the words doc. I have created the form.

I am trying to upload my resume to a website and want to make sure that the
format stays the same and that it can't be altered.  It is not letting me
save the document as a PDF though.  How else can I do this?

I saved a document in Microsoft Word 2003 with Wingdings text so that if
someone opened it, they wouldn't be able to read it.  Now when I open it, it
won't change back to Times New Roman.  Help!

When I try to save a document in Word 2007 or Excel 2007, a message appears
"initializing root folders to display."  Even after the routine runs, most of
the time I still can't save the document.  Any suggestions?

Is there anyway in Word 2003 that I can tell the TOC not to update on
opening the document?  Sometimes it takes a minute or so to open our large
documents.  Can I turn it off and manually update?
I'm familiar with VBA if that's the way to go.

Subsequently, when I reinstall the Word program (part of my MS OFFICE 2003
package) will Microsoft recognize that I am reinstalling the program on the
same computer or will it tell me I need a new license?  ...

I inherited a 184 page Word file.  Each page has a header with a
manually inserted page number.  I want to delete all the headers so
that I can start from scratch and format the headers correctly.  Is
there any way to delete multiple headers at the same time?

I am trying to make a cross reference to a "title" in my document, but the
tool will only allow me to cross reference to "headings". I could change the
titles to "level one" headings, but I like how they look. Is there any way to
reference these or possibly change the level one ...

I am using Word 2007 and editing a document that uses track changes.  How do
I easily accept or reject?  Right now I seem to have to go to the Review tab,
then the Changes group, then accept or reject.  This is for each change!  How
can I make it so I can keep accepting or ...
