All my Word documents have got dots between the words instead of
space. Each time i use the  space bar i get a dot instead of a space
It has affected all my exsisting Word documents. Can anyone help m
with undoing this

I am using Word 2007.  When I insert a page break (either by using CTRL+Enter
or clicking the Page Break button on the Insert tab), it will insert an
invisible page break--there's another page, but not the dotted lines and
"page break" that are what is usually displayed in ...

Hi Guys, I have a little problem with word 2003. I have tons of document, and
some time ago we changed the server name were all the templetes were stored.
Now the document became very slow to open, because word spends a lot of time
searching for the template.

i've got my contacts list in outlook
but when creating new mail it says that the names / addresses are not
there.....it says that contact folder associated with this address list cant
be opened.

I am doing a mail merge and merging multiple addresses into one document to
create customized documents. At the end of the mail merge, I am left with one
master Word document - a list of all the customized documents. I need to

I'm using Word 2007.  I have a document, and I'm trying to put page numbers
in.  I'd like it to say, page 1 of 20, but I want it to start on page 3, and
have no numbers on the first two pages.  I can't seem to get it to agree with
me, and not familiar enough with Word 07.

When creating a new document in Word 2007, should it not automatically be
saved as a Word 2007 document, ie docx? My PC seems to pick and choose how it
saves things.

What is the protocol to make Word 2003 default to the normal
settings?  SPell check is not working.  The requisite files *.LEX are
in the proper directory.

Recently upgrade from Office Home and Student to get away from
"non-commercial use" statement, but when I try and use new Office Standard
"N-CU" statement is still there.    Should I have uninstalled HSE or is there
something else I need to do to get rid of this?  Please help.

Would Microsoft Word 2003 open a Microsoft Works document?

I've got a large Word document of favorite quotes with an index of authors.
It's been a long time since I've added a new quote, and I forget how to add a
new index entry to an existing index. I know there's a keyboard combination
that allows this to be done, but dang if I can ...

I'm using Office 2003 Standard Edition and when in Word and Outlook, have a
problem. 2 keys have somehow switched round. I  now have to hit Shift/ " for
the @ sign, and  shift/@ to get the " sign. No idea how this happened.
