I tried to create a template for myself with the necessary styles, then restricted formatting with the "Limit formatting to permitted styles" checkbox in Manage Styles / Restricted. It works fine, with the styles I can format my document, except one thing: multilevel lists.

I have seen title and dates applied to documents at the bottom whenever a document is updated. I don't believe it is in a footer. Can someone tell me how to do this whenever a document is updated. Thank you

I downloaded a template Wizard (Newsletter), extracted the files into the "Template" folder in the Microsoft folder in "Program Files", but the Wizard does not appear in the template listing in Word's "New" document command. Obviously I am missing something and would appreciate ...

I am left handed and using a tablet PC. When I view a document in MS Word, I would like the vertical scroll bar to appear on the left hand side where I can access it more easily with my left hand. Can that be done? Thanks.

In Word 2003, there was a box in the Options menu, General tab for blue background with white letters. This display option worked well for people with reading disabilities. I cannot find this display format.

In Word 2000, when I chose New Document, I could choose what type such as letter, fax, memo, etc. I found this really handy when I wanted to send something out "quick and dirty" and still look professional as I could choose from Contemporary, etc. styles.
