In a Word  2003 document that I am writing, I am want to include a 2 line
header for a table that goes to 13 pages in the Word document. I want each
page of the Word document to include the two line column header for every
page that cotnains the excel spreadhseet (table).

How can I set the Description property?
Some commercial pgms have it set, and I would like to be able to set the
same field in my files to avoid having to display multiple columns in a file
list (eg. comments, title, or category)

I was trying to fix the problem of  "my blank document not blank", but I cant
get to normal.dot. I tried both ways suggested in that page.

The instructions for re-registering Word is not helpful for Vista. Can
someone help me?
The whole reason I need to re-register is because when I save a document in
Word and later try to open it by double clicking the document, it doesn't

Hi Guys, this is probably basic but im not that great with word.. I have made
a  template which I want to print multiple copies of. I would like each copy
to have the next date at the top of the template.. ie page 1 = 1/03/08 page 2
= 2/08/08 etc.. Sort of like page numbering but ...

When I print my document, a shaded area about 2 inches wide prints on the
right hand side of every page. I have tried to turn off "track changes" but
the area still prints. Does anyone know how to get rid of it and get my
document back to its proper size? Thanks!

Word 2003 allowed me to create an Autotext entry and give it a single
character shortcut reference.  When I wanted to insert that autotext entry in
a Word document or Outlook email message, I would type that one character
reference and press Shift F3.  It would auto populate.  

MS Word automatically creates a heavy horizontal line called a "border line"
across the page after you type several shift-dashes (key to right of ")").  
How do I delete this line?  I can't select it for a delete.  The
Format>Borders and Shading>Setting None does nothing to get ...

I have a excel list of information to mail merge in word 2007
The ORDERDATE field in word the formatting of the date & month is reversed
like a US Date.
Need to format Date as dd/mm/yy format.

I have created a TOC and do not want the page numbers to show for Level 1.  I
have used the Field Codes with the \n so the page numbers do not show on
Level 1.  In the Print Preview section of the TOC it appears correctly
however once generated Level 1 shows with page numbers and ...

I must be really DUMB! I don't need to know anything other than-HOW DO I GET
RID OF THE PAGE NUMBERS "COMPLETELY".....don't need to know how to change it
or make a page break that has a lot of answers-

Would anyone know how to avoid a non-breaking hyphen part of the document
title, as defined in the document properties, showing as a square when
inserted in the document itself?  Here is what I did:
 -     Goto Files --> Properties

I created a templated with macros.  When I give the template to others, they
cannot see the macros.
