I turned off my office assistant a while ago, and now can't find it or remember how to turn it back on. Help keeps telling me to click on the balloon. What balloon? I don't see one anywhere. I miss the little purring helper.

I am working on documents created in earlier versions of Word. (Office XP would be my guess.) I'm in compatibility mode, because not everyone has migrated. In the footer of these documents are codes: date, page number, page length.

Recently purchased Office 2007. I noticed the spell checker does not work. I typed a document and misspelled every word and spell check did not try to correct one. Went into word options and verified English (US) was primary language.
