In Word 2003, I have saved my Normal.dot file that has my customized
settings.  I'm now using VISTA and cannot locate this file or any application
data files for that matter.  How can I transfer my Normal.dot settings from
my old computer to my new one?

As I understand it, the purpose of the style is so that when I can set all
subsection headings the same (say bold), and later decide to make them all
italics I don't have to hunt down each heading - I just modify the style for
Heading3 and they are all changed.

Recently whenever I open a word document it always opens in design view.
I can turn design view off in the document, but there must be a way to stop
word opening a document in design view.

Today I'm unable to use "Save As" for a Word doc. I get a dialog box, I can
browse to a different location, and rename the doc but after I click "Save"
nothing happens. Any ideas?

In a Word 2K file I inserted and Autocad 2K drawing.
I just made copy/paste and cropped the file to the required size.
I printed it on an Epson Aculaser C4000 color printer and the print quality

I am creating hyperlinks to a intranet WEB site. When I click on the
hyperlink a dialog box appears and warns me of virus' etc. and I have to
click OK to open the doc. Is there a way to disable the dialog box popping up?

process, I don't see the new fonts in there.

Looking for a good format in MS-Word to present a competitive analysis of 4
products, our own and 3 competitors.  Will have specific functions down left
hand column and companies across the top.  Otherwise open to good ideas for
formatting.  Using Word 2003.

I used to be able to type "Best r" and "Best regards" would show up as an
option the same way "Febr" would bring up "February." I can't find a way to
do that in Word / Outlook 2007. Any thoughts?

Is there any way to select ALL figures in my current word document?
I wanted to (1) Apply a Figure Format (2) Change layout to inline with text  
for all the Figures in my document.
I have 60 plus figures!

I have a 2 page doc with only three lines on the 2nd page. I need to resize
it to 1 page. I have tried the Home-paragraph-decrease indent, Page
layout-orientation,  and Margins-narrow.
