I've created the following Word document and I have sent it out as an
attachment in an e-mail to several people.  They have e-mailed me back saying
that it is a read-only document and they cannot enter information into it.

.tmp files are a real pain and I would like word to stop generating them.
Does anyone know of a way to stop word from generating .tmp files when I open
an existing file?  Is there a registry key to stop them?  I am not worried
about losing information in an open document if ...

I have created a document template with a title page and a second
page. The client also wants a separator page that would be used as
needed. Is this possible, and if so, how?? What's another option if

I would like Word 2007 to work like Word 2003.  I set the default but it
doesn't stay.  I don't want any of the automatic formatting, spacing, breaks,
