When I open a new document in Word, it opens but already has text on the
page.  The text is something from another part of a saved document, (its
always the same text that appears).  I can delete the text and go on with my
buisness... but its annoying!  Does anyone know why this ...

I just made one of my users very mad.  I upgraded her Office 2003 to Office

for the first time, then on close for each paragraph somewhere is
saved it's last update date, which will be the current. Then on the
next document open if any of the paragraphs were modified their last

We use a couple of different templates for all of our documentation,
depending on the type of document.  We want people to be able to make
adjustments to a document if necessary (apply bold and italic to text,
indent, etc.) but we want to lock it so they can't modify the template ...
