Purchased new HP notebook PC.  Has Microsoft WORKS not WORD.  All old files
in Word 2003 and Excel.  Can I and how do I download into WORKS?  

I would like to have a document that others can print but cannot make changes
to, except for entering an 8 digit number that will change every time they
will print it.  How do I go about doing this?

Hi,
I am using Word 2002 and I have these backward L shaped brackets in both the
header and footer section of all Word documents that I cannot seem to get rid
of.  

I need to make the micro sign for the unit micromolar. Its just a "u" with an
extention on the bottom front of the letter.

I can't seem to stop this problem.  When using Word I will have a page of
what I wrote.  I will highlight a word or sentence and attempt to format but
it changes the entire page including the unselected text.  I have reinstalled
at least 3 times and the problem will not go away.  ...

I downloaded the NCR label template from their website - I couldn't get it to
work so I removed the whole program. Now when I open any new word document
there is a dotted lined square the entire length of my page with crop marks
in all four corners.

I cannot find the rulers on the top of Word or on the left side.  If I return
to default will they return and how do I do it?   I still have Word 97

where is the back arrow button in Word 2007 and 2d issue: when I start a new
Word 2007 document it only allows double spacing, how do I get it to be
single spaced?

I'm trying to type over a picture in Microsoft word 2007, i want the picture
in background and words over it.  I'm not sure how to do it.  If I do a text
box it covers the picture so I don't want that.  Thanks.
