I'm not having much luck with this one - we have a library of several
hundred MS Word documents created by different people in different
years with different versions of MS Word.  We need to find out which
fonts are in use for each document and, of course, for the entire
"Search and Replace" hangs in Word 200719 Apr 2008 11:37 GMT1
When I try a certain kind of Search and Replace in Word 2007, the program
hangs on me. The specific search and replace is the following:
SEARCH FOR: ^p^p (two carriage returns)
REPLACE WITH: ^p (one carriage return)

Powerpoint presentation in it.  The presentation runs just fine, but I can
not print it. I figure that if I copy it out or export it, I should be able
to make a print.  Copy & paste and drag & drop do not work.  ...

In Word 2007, I'm trying to link text in a job application to the footer.  
For example, when someone types in his/her last name, I want that last name
to automatically populate in the footer on every page of the application.  
Does Word 2007 have a way to do that?  Thanks.

Word 2002 program has just started, today, to take a very long time to open

When I try, using Insert - Picture - From File, then choose the file, it
shows nothing on the screen, no text, no picture. If I click on the area, it

auto-correct and (more or less) turned everything off, instead I got another

In microsoft word 2007 the toolbar options do not stay visible, they once did
however I must have hit something unknowningly.  Now only the tabs such as
home are visible until I click on the tab then the options under home such as
font are visible.  Then when I go to type again ...

We have recently updated our servers and had to take our company's forms and
put them on a separate drive--they previously were all in a separate folder
on another drive.

I was using 2003. Just installed 2007. For some reason all my defaults are
set to 2003...really frustrating!! I figured out how to change most defaults
to 2007. However, when I try to open a new document, I am NOT getting the
"New Document" dialog box. I am getting a "Templates" ...
