Each time i save a word document, i get a fresh icon on my desktop.WHy is that? they only vanish when i close the document that i am working with, so my desktop is covered with about 20 icons if i am writing an essay and saving as i go

Strangest thing- When using word 2003 and typing my document in print layout view when I reach the end of the first page the second page does not show, but if I then go to normal view the rest of the document is there...

Please help. On this one letter a dotted line prnts on the right side of the paper no matter what I do I can not get it to go away. This is only on the HP 1020 not on the HP 1023.

I wrote a eulogy for my brother last Saturday. I thought I saved it. Instead of a file named Toms eulogy it shows Tom%27s%20eulogy[1].doc Can you help me find and open and properly save the file?

Word 2003 had a nifty batch conversion wizard for converting a whole bunch of docs to HTML. Is there something comparable in Word 2007? I know that you can use "Save As" to save a single document, but I have a whole bunch to be converted.

I would like to print checks using MS Word. The check blanks would be fed individually through the by-pass of the printer at right angles like an envelope. Thus the printing would be typed on the screen in portrait but would print in landscape.

I have Vista with Word 2007. With this same computer & program I would be able to copy an article with links in blue and they would copy the same. One day the copy no longer showed the word in blue but ({HYPERLINK "the link"}). How can I change it back to the "blue word" only? ...

I started editing a document and forgot to turn on track changes. I tried undoing all my edits (ctrl-z), turning on track changes, and then redoing the edits (ctrl-y). But, of course this didn't work. Is there any solution? Thanks.
