Using Word 2000 on W2K. If I add a text box, and then insert an image (not a
link but the image itself as a jpg), sometimes (perhaps 15% of the time) the
arrow keys (up, down, etc.) cease to work. Also the "end" key and "start" key

I have just opened a new word document but when I type the letters are going

Text seems to be hiding behind the header on some pages within my document-
usually it shifts down automatically below the header but seems to be hiding
under it- any ideas how I can resolve this??

Up to now have not had trouble with numbering pages for my Crochet Class that
I teach.  Only now that I have begun another file for my next class, the
numbering is to start at -56- and continue in sequence for the next 4 pages.  
I get -56- and -57-, then it repeats -56 and -57- ...

I make a hyperlink inside word and I point it to a pdf file. When I click the
hyperlink, (Ctrl+click) it doesnt open the pdf file.
I have the same problem in Excel as well.
In both cases, a window tries to open but closes simultaneously.
