I'm now onto 'questions' in the grammar/spell check.
The definition is:
Questions
Non-standard questions such as, "He asked if there was any coffee left?",

Spell check will not check words in text form field.  
Information was highlighted and copied to a new word
document.  When changes were made to the copied text,
errors still would not be highlighted.

I' m trying to use the spanish spelling dictionary for
word 7. 0 or 8.0 XP Proffessional. But i only see the
dictionary for english. Before i have microsoft word 2000
in a different computer and i see about 100 different

I just got a new PC with Windows XP. I installed Word 97,
but the spell check feature does not work. If I go to

I have Word 97 SR1 in Italian on one computer and Word 2002 XP on another in
English.
I would liket to use the glossary or dictionary provied in Italian with the
Word 97 version and copy it into the Word 2002 XP version touse it there.

Wondering if there is a way to access all Word 2000
AutoCorrect entries in a format that can be printed.  
Don't want to have to add them all individually into a
document, which would be long, laborious and boring!

I have a new Toshiba laptop for my son. It came with MS
Works. I purchased and loaded MS Office Student edition.

I have an unprotected document with some data in a table,
and some not.  When I run the spell check the data not in
the table is checked, while the data in the table isn't.  
I tried the spell check macros but nothing works.  Any

I have MS Office 2000 Professional working in a Windows 98 2nd edition
environment. Everything works fine except Words. I open Words and can works
for about :30 to 1 minute, then it crashes.
I've repaired it, un-installed all office completely then re-installed again

with user rights.  when logged in under administrator
locally, it works fine.  what's the deal?  how do I

I have automated word to produce letters from a sql server database with
Visual Basic 6. What i have noticed is Word then Puts in a full stop after
each title whether Mr or  Miss etc. It seems it makes use of the US
Dictionary. How can i prevent word from allocating these full stops ...

I have done multiple installs on computers lately of Word
2000 and when the users try to use Ctrl + F or the menus
to  find or find and replace, they get a second instand of
microsoft word.  In this second instance, the find menu
