I have Word XP and just recently have had the problem of
the missing speller dll's. Reloading the software didn't
work. I seem to be able to correct it by going to TOOLS,
LANGUAGE,SET LANGUAGE and selecting English (Canada) and

I just bought a new pc with Swedish word 2000 (or 2002)
included. Since I am Norwegian i need the Norwegian spell
check. Is it possible to dowload this file from any web
site?

I know it's a strange one but, we have a few kids with
learning difficulties that are allowed to use Word in an
exam as they can't write very well.  All very good you
say, but the catch is that they are not allowed any

It doesn't appear that the spell check as you type is
working in the table in my document.  It picks up errors
outside the table, but not within.  When I run the spell
check, it doesn't catch them either.  Any ideas?

I've been using the same Office XP for ?years, but
Windows XP has fairly recently been installed on my PC.  
I do not know if this has any connection with my problem,
I've only noticed the spell-check problem very very

In word 2000 the language seems to be defaulting
occasionally to french instead of the desired english uk.
You can set the language back to english but then sometime
after french is selected again. I have re-installed

I search the Microsoft Web site an I could not find a way
to buy the Portuguese dictionary.
I bought in Portgal a private Dictionary for W95 and W98  
and they became obsolete and useless after my Upgrades.

I am using Word XP.  When I spell check sometimes, the
language is set as French when it should be english.  
After changing the langauge back to english in the spell
check box, it returns back to French.  How do I make sure
