WORD XP.
I have another language to be set as the default. I have chosen it many
times to be the default language and have even open up Normal.dot and chose
it there, but everytime I create a new doc, English is the default

Installed 2003 Office XP Student/Teacher edition
(v11.5604.5606) and find that Word's spellchecker misses
some very obvious misspellings, such as:

How can I fix Word so it doesn't look for the french dictionary when
checking spelling?
I get a message when spell checking which reads as follows:

I would like Word to tell me if I accidently put more than
